The International Regional Conference on Hindi, Singapore (IRCH_Singapore) is an inaugural conference organized by the High Commission of India in Singapore, in collaboration with the Centre for Language Studies at the National University of Singapore. This conference aims to bring together academics, researchers, and professionals from Southeast Asia and beyond for a productive exchange of insights, experiences, and perspectives on the current and future developments in Hindi as a second, foreign and heritage language, as well as in diaspora Hindi literature. Serving as a platform for participants to present their latest research and practices in Hindi language education, literature, and related fields, this inaugural conference in Singapore lays the groundwork for future conferences and workshops.
